DIY Television Stand

As a software developer, I "get" open source code. As a DIYer, I love Peter Nidzgorski's Open Source Storage projects. I based my TV stand on his brilliant idea.

    1. The wood is 3/4" birch plywood, Jeffrey.

Peter Nidzgorski recommended 1" EuroPly maple, which looks better but was not readily available in Kansas at the time.

  2. Hi,

What did you use for the door tracks and where did you get it?
    Thanks.

  4. Wonderful job. Would you mind telling us the dimensions of the wood?

    1. Thanks Alan. The top and bottom are 48" x 15". The sides are 4 3/4" x 15". If I were to do another, I'd mitre the corners, in lieu of the overlapped joints.

  5. Did you just glue together? I see the pics on FLICKR but no directions

  6. Both glue and nails were used, winesnoop. Holes were pre-drilled, 2" nails were hammered in place, then recessed slightly with a nail set. Finally, some puddy was used to hide the nail heads.
